Following on from his PhD research, Hamish McPhee, now a postdoctoral researcher and still at TéSA, presented his work on the application of robust and misspecified estimation to time scale generation in a swarm of nanosatellites. It was a great opportunity for everyone to discover how onboard clocks can work together while remaining resilient to disturbances, …and to put their own synchronization skills to the test!
